There are a number of Muslim organizations that operate in the country largely in the areas of welfare and education service provision. Some of them are as old as 50 to 60 years in operation, while others have been in operation for slightly fewer years. Some of these organizations are nationally based, while others are region based. All these organizations operate at different success levels depending on the availability of finances.
Without going into details of the activities of each organization, here is a list of registered Islamic websites for some of the organizations:

Islamic Information Bureau (IIB) is a non-profit organization that was established in the year 1999 by Muslim Association of Malawi (MAM) after realizing that there are a great demand and interest in understanding and acquiring knowledge about Islam by both Muslims and non-Muslims alike.
AL-Haqq Publications deals in the publication of AL-Haqq monthly News Letter, AL-Haqq weekly topical Islamic posters. The posters are distributed and pinned in various Mosques in Malawi, preparing articles for Discover Islam, and Islam in Focus, that gets published in Sunday Times and Nation on Sunday respectively.
The Halaal Department of Muslim Association of Malawi is a non-profit making entity representing the Muslim community in Malawi in all matters pertaining to the Muslim dietary law and the general application of the word Halaal. It is fully guided by Malawian Islamic scholars.
Al-Baraka Charity Trust
Al Barakah Charity Trust (ACT) is a local organization aimed at fulfilling a religious duty of assisting the needy members of the community as well as in appreciation of the Government of Malawi’s role in providing a conducive environment for business operations. Petroda (Malawi) Ltd is actually the main donor of the activities of ACT in Malawi.
Association of Sunni Madrasas
Aims at stimulating Muslims to actively participate in the socio-economic and political development of a country whilst emphasizing on the promotion of Islamic activities.
