Today, many non-Muslims regard Islam as a religion that promotes violence, terrorism and war. Unfortunately, they rely in their view of Islam on the general media, which is not always accurate in reporting the news. Many media outlets, such as TV, radio, newspapers and magazines, are influenced by their investors or owners who have certain agendas and who want to promote certain values and points of view. Other media outlets are simply after the big story, in order to make more money and more profits. Others are simply followers who only gather news from other sources, re-package it and try to sell it again purely as a business.

But before we trust on such pictures or contents..I want to ask you

1. Have we ever inquiry or question the authenticity of such images when you recieve in email,or see in facebook pages/ gallery?

2. Honestly, do we need to proof the truth of Islam or the greatness of Allah this way?

The number 786 is just 786..it has no more significance in Islam than normal counting. When Allah or His messenger wants to teach us something, they do so in the clearest way, far from puzzles and mystery numbers. All the efforts made by some Muslims to count letters and relate them to numbers are nothing but a waste of time. Sometimes they do so with good intention to show that our deen is great and the Qur'an is intact. Indeed our deen is great, but it's not in need of such erroneous approaches.
Some Muslims write 786/110. However, some people believe that it is of high virtue as the alphabets of 'Bismillahi Arrahmani Arraheem' add up to 786. Numerology is not from Islam in any way or manner.

It is so unfortunate that some people even write '786' on pages of books, their shps etc instead of using the Basmalah. It is a needless innovation and makes little of no sense.

InshAllah in this short booklet I would discuss authenticy of three famous narrations that falsely have been attributed to our beloved Prophet (sallalahu alayhi wa ala alihi wa sallam).

It was reported that Prophet (sallalahu alayhi wa ala alihi wa sallam) said: "To look at the face of Ali is worship"

You can see this hadith in many shia polemic works, shia scholars quoting it, and using it during their debates with people of Sunnah.

First of all we should notice that in accordance to shia narrations such superiority wasn't something special for Ali (r.a), but for all believers.

It is not a merit to respond goodness with goodness and evil with evil. The real virtue is to counter not just goodness with goodness but also evil with goodness. Because of our benefaction, if the person treated with goodness is an enemy, he becomes a friend; if he is a friend nor an enemy he becomes closer; and if he is a friend, his friendship and love increases. And repelling evil with goodness becomes a fence between evil and the evil doer.

While there are multiple benefits of having pictures on Facebook, including "so my friends know it's me who is adding them" and "my relatives overseas want to see what I look like", it's quite a risky business. Accessible from Google, the entire process of having our pictures downloaded and saved on someone's computer takes only a few seconds. It is very possible that a Hijabi sister's cute profile picture of her having a good time with friends might very well end up in the hands of an overzealous matchmaker in the community and ogled over by dozens of boys around the globe, and vice versa.

Appearance and wealth are the criteria by which Shaytaan misguides people to judge one another. Allah (subhana wa ta'ala) has altogether another set of criteria. Since Allah is the Bestower of looks and He is the one who determines the rizq/wealth of a person, these mean nothing to Him. What the person has done to endear himself to his or her Lord is what they will be judged on. What Allah (subhana wa ta'ala) appreciates about them is their application to improving their beliefs, their hearts, their characters and their deeds.

Al Shaddad Bin Aous has quoted this tradition of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) "God calls for mercy in everything, so be merciful when you kill and when you slaughter, sharpen your blade to relieve its pain".
Many allegations have been made that Islamic slaughter is not humane to animals. However, Professor Schultz and his colleague Dr. Hazim of the Hanover University, Germany, proved through an experiment, using an Electro encephalograph (EEG) and Electro Cardiogram (ECG) that *Islamic slaughter is THE humane method of slaughter* and captive bolt stunning, practiced by the Western method, causes severe pain to the animal. The results surprised many.

The woman may think that polygamy is unfair to her, undermines her personality, nullifies her independence, and denies her of respect and ownership. This perception is only partly true from the perspective of the individual woman, but at the same time, this view exposes its blatant aggression against the gender of women in general when some women, who are deprived of or have lost a husband, look for another one and cannot find any. When Islam legislates or legalizes a matter, it considers the public interest and gives it precedence over the interest of the individual in order to bring about public benefits and ward off destructive evils. By doing so, Islam is consistent with common sense and wise reasoning.
